The Reagan Award
The Reagan Award
The Reagan Award is one of the highest honors presented by the Allegany County Republican Committee, recognizing individuals whose service and dedication embody the principles of President Ronald Reagan—leadership, patriotism, and commitment to community. Allegany County holds a special place in Republican history, as the site of the 1854 Friendship Convention where the Republican Party was first organized in New York State. By presenting the Reagan Award, we not only honor the outstanding contributions of local Republicans—past recipients include Brent L. Reynolds, Beverly A. Stockman, and Robert L. Christman—but also celebrate our county’s proud role in shaping the party’s beginnings and carrying forward its enduring values.
